VIgo4AI Set to Launch with First Consortium Meeting in Vienna

We are pleased to announce that the first consortium meeting of the VIGO4AI project – Visually Impaired Go for Artificial Intelligence will take place in Vienna, Austria, on May 26–27, 2025. Travel days are scheduled for May 25 and 28.

Our Austrian partnerHilfsgemeinschaft der Blinden und Sehschwachen Österreichs, will host the meeting at their offices, located in the  HG Floridsdorf Seminar Room.

This kick-off event will bring together representatives from all six partner organisations from Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Spain. During the meeting, partners will discuss the project’s objectives, timeline, and key deliverables, including the development of inclusive AI training curricula designed for people with visual impairments.

VIgo4AI, co-funded by the European Union, aims to make artificial intelligence more accessible and relevant to the visually impaired community by empowering trainers and institutions to integrate AI into assistive education and technologies.

We look forward to a productive and inspiring meeting that will set the stage for impactful collaboration throughout the project.
